What Is an ESD PET Roll?

An ESD PET roll is polyethylene terephthalate sheet supplied in roll form with anti-static, static-dissipative, or conductive functionality. The material is designed to limit charge generation or move accumulated charge away at a controlled rate, depending on the required resistance class.

Why Standard PET May Not Be Enough？

Standard PET is widely used because it is clear, strong, dimensionally stable, and suitable for many packaging processes. However, friction and separation during unwinding, forming, stacking, and handling can generate static charge on untreated plastic surfaces.
